Keyword Search
This is the best place to start and is usually a sufficient search tool. Use descriptive words, subjects, words from a possible title, object ID numbers and other possibilities to search. Start with one or two words and then build from there. By default words you enter are connected by OR however you can put AND between each word for that type of serach. Use an asterisk (*) if complete spelling is unknown or you are okay with alternate endings off the branch word; as in Noy* for Noyes or librar* for library, libraries, librarian or librarians.
