Description |
Leonia's original "downtown", known as the village, was located on Fort Lee Road below Grand Avenue. At one time Fort Lee Road was named Central Avenue. This view was taken at the turn of the century. On the lower left is Spring Street. Among the stores that lined the street was William Moore's hardware store which is now located on Broad Avenue. The card is postmarked "1928" |
