Description |
Author of over thirty books, Robin Cook is credited with popularizing the medical thriller. He wrote his first novel while serving in he Navy as a doctor on a submarine. Cook graduated from Leonia High School in 1958 and received his medical degree from Columbia University he went on to Harvard for training in Ophthalmology. While serving his residency at Harvard, Cook published "Coma" which was adapted for film and television. |
