Description |
Dick Kryhoski (1925-2007) as first baseman for the New York Yankees in 1949. Kryhoski graduated from Leonia High School in 1943. After graduation he joined the Navy for three years serving aboard an aircraft carrier. After the war he signed on with the New York Yankees and played with them the year they won the World Series. Kryhoski also played for the Detroit Tigers, Saint Louis Browns and Baltimore Orioles. He graduated from Upsala College with a Bachelor's degree in History and political science. |
